The International Architectural Visual Designers (IVDA) is proud to welcome Alessandro Maniscalco as a distinguished member of its Evaluation Committee. With over two decades of experience in 3D architectural visualization, motion design, and digital rendering, Alessandro brings a rare combination of technical mastery, creative vision, and educational expertise to the global IVDA community.
Evaluating Excellence in Architectural Visualization
As a jury member at IVDA, Alessandro evaluates projects across the full spectrum of architectural visualization, including high-quality 3D renders, animations, interactive presentations, and virtual walkthroughs. His deep knowledge ensures submissions are assessed not only for technical accuracy and photorealism, but also for composition, storytelling, and the effective communication of architectural concepts.
"IVDA is about raising the standard of architectural visualization globally," Alessandro says. "Being part of the evaluation process allows me to help recognize work that is both visually striking and conceptually strong."
Mentorship and Professional Development
In addition to his role as a judge, Alessandro mentors emerging architectural visual designers, providing personalized feedback on workflow optimization, lighting, composition, and post-production techniques.
As a certified MAXON trainer and experienced 3D generalist, he leads IVDA workshops and masterclasses focused on Cinema 4D, architectural rendering, motion graphics for architecture, and advanced visualization techniques. His sessions bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice, empowering designers to deliver world-class architectural visualizations.

A Career Shaped by Creativity and Architectural Expertise
Alessandro began his career in 3D graphics in 1999 and has since developed projects in architectural visualization, digital media, and motion design. Alongside his professional work, he has trained countless students and professionals, helping them master architectural rendering workflows and elevate their creative output. His dual role as educator and evaluator makes him uniquely positioned to guide the next generation of architectural visual designers.
Advancing IVDA’s Mission
By combining jury responsibilities with teaching opportunities, Alessandro embodies IVDA’s mission to foster talent, promote creative excellence, and connect architectural visualization professionals worldwide. His involvement ensures participants not only gain recognition but also acquire the skills, guidance, and inspiration to excel in the architectural visualization industry.
